Dr. Garcia was born on Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. After moving several times, his family settled in Wellington, Ohio when he was 11-years-old. After graduating from Wellington High School he joined the United States Air Force where he served as a computer programmer for six years.
While serving in the Air Force, Dr. Garcia continued his education by taking night classes, later transferring to Ohio State University where he completed his undergraduate studies in Biology and received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in May of 2013. Since then he has been practicing in South East Michigan and on the eastern coast of Florida.
The areas of Veterinary Medicine that Dr. Garcia enjoys the most are Surgeries, Cardiology and Teeth cleaning but he also enjoys the varied aspects and challenges faced by being a General Practitioner.
Dr. Garcia is married, and he and his wife Tiffany have two children Eden and Crosby. They have relocated to Westlake where they will be sharing their home with a Miniature Schnauzer (Zeke), Goldendoodle (Archie) and a Devon Rex cat (Pout Pout). The Garcia family love traveling, spending time outdoors hiking, camping and exploring wildlife.
Originally from Rhode Island, in 2001, our medical director, Dr. Caires, obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture at Purdue University, along with a minor in Biology and Animal Science. He attended Ross University where he completed his veterinary degree in 2005. He completed his clinical studies at the University of Georgia.
Married in 2008, Dr. Caires lives with his wife, Jaclyn, their daughters Eva, Kyla, Cora and along with their cat Pandora and dog Kelly.
Dr. Caires main interest is in dentistry, ultrasound and laparoscopy surgery. He currently does not practice at our location, but he will travel to other locations to assist in doing dentals and dental procedures. Dr. Caires also will do ultrasounds to aid in diagnostics.
His other interests include the outdoors and working on his home.
An Ohio native from the Cincinnati area, Dr. Gregory Langdon obtained his Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences and his Master’s Degree In Veterinary Public Health from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
In his free time he enjoys hiking, playing musical instruments (including the Banjo), grilling and listening to various podcasts that pique his interest. He is excited to be a part of the Ohio Pet Vet Family.
