Lead Pet Stylist
Tricia has been a pet stylist since 1997 and started working at Celebrity Pets Salon & Boutique in January 2008. She became a groomer accidentally when she applied to be a dog trainer at PetsMart. They didn’t need trainers at the time but needed bathers in the grooming department. Shortly after she was hired, an opportunity came about to be trained in grooming. She learned the basics, but three years later, she went to Pampered Paws and learned to groom “show style” from a friend who bred and showed Poodles. Her original career choice was to be an artist. She graduated from The Columbus College of Art & Design with a BFA. There was not much full time opportunity in freelance painting and sculpting so Tricia is very grateful for her pet styling career where she can use her artistic abilities on your pets.
She grew up in the greater Cleveland area and moved to Dayton, where her grooming career began. Tricia then groomed in Columbus for 18 months before moving to the Akron/Canton area when she married her husband, Mark, in 2007. They share their lives with many dogs, one sheltie, Eden and the rest are Border Collies. She has many rescued house rabbits from as far away as Texas. Tricia has been competing in dog agility and obedience events since 1998. Mark joined her in this passion and they have competed at the Westminster Kennel Club trial as well as the AKC National Agility Championship.
Laura has worked in the industry for more than 23 years. She worked for Valley Animal Hospital as a client service representative for three years before joining the Celebrity Pets team in 2010. She is passionate about animals and has a menagerie of her own at home, including six cats, three dogs, and a box turtle named Tilly. Her hobbies, other than caring for her family of pets, consist of hiking, biking, and kick boxing.
Jen’s love for animals led her to start her career bathing dogs before being promoted to assistant dog groomer. She followed her goal and became a dog groomer, and she’s been grooming at Celebrity Pets since 2015. She has two kids who are both very active in sports as well as two dogs and two cats whom she adores! Animals are her passion!
